San Onofre, in San Diego, is one of the most beautiful spots on Earth.  You can see its raw power in the bluffs, the windswept sand, and the deep blue ocean waves.  Walking along the beach, surfing the swells, or camping will create memories that last a lifetime.  And hopefully it’s not because the people in the next tent over insisted on tossing their trash in the fire pit or blaring music into the night.  When in San Diego, low impact surf camping is a must:  not only is it better for the environment, it is better for your outdoor neighbors.

As useful as this site is to follow the actions of others, keep up on current events or find out when your favorite band is touring, it can be an invaluable resource for business owners. This is because Twitter has a fascinating search feature that allows you to type in a keyword, say, a keyword that includes the name of your business, and you can instantly see what anyone and everyone is saying about you, your products and your service. You don’t have to be a part of Twitter to run a successful business in 2009, but the amount of real time feedback you can get is astonishing.

Is Facebook Past Its Prime? Strong Signs Point to Yes.

The social media world is always changing and though some networks like Facebook have dominated for years, it's possible to lose the reins in a flash. After reviewing the recent article from PC World, it's possible the oh so popular site could be losing its cool, and fast.

In the first quarter of 2009, Facebook.com's "bounce rate" -- the percentage of visits to the site that consist of a single page view and then a quick exit -- has grown by a whopping 19 percent according to Alexa research data. The numbers suggest a large number of Facebookers are visiting the site, finding little of interest and promptly leaving.
